Do Kickboxing Classes/Training show you striking techniques/skills or just kicking?

Well I know it’s Kickboxing and not boxing so you’re obviously going to be kicking a lot….but does this involve any punching/striking as well?
Actually, the kickboxing classes I go to place a little more emphasis on Punching than on Kicking. We also learn blocking, knee strikes and elbow strikes.

A few co workers and I would like to take some beginners boxing classes,I was wondering were are some places that offer women’s classes located in Las Vegas,Nevada?
i dont want to be a boxer, we just want to take classes together for exercise. We all like boxing and we are not planning to compete.

I just signed up to a different boxing class thats called usmaa.. would it be okay if i wore my tapout while they train me? Do you think they will care?

Aikido or Boxing classes?

I’ve just finished my first month taking Aikido class, and while it’s fun and has helped me with defense, but I’m just not getting in shape. There is virtually no exercise involved right now, and even later on in the classes where I fall and move more, it still won’t be much.
