I’m a very fickle person. I have always loved the sport of boxing and am starting boxing classes soon to hopefully start amateur boxing. Problem is it would kill me inside to loose a fight. I’ve been in a few fights when i was a kid..won some lost some. The ones I lost bothered me to no end. I felt like I couldn’t face anyone ever again due to the fact I was defeated. Is this the mind set of most fighters? And a weird thing is if its for sport I would gladly compete in a boxing match..on the other hand I would be terrified to get into another street fight just because I would be afraid to loose. I know but this is a bunch of mumbooo jumbooo but anyone who can relate advice is helpful.
Nobody likes to lose. It’d b a huge bruise to the ego but fighters fight so they suck it up n get bak to the grind
You just have to understand that loosing is part of fighting… even if youre a great fighter.. if you fight enough for long enough you will eventually loose… so just have pride in the fact that you were man enough to fight… and learn from youre losses… i am sure Berto felt pretty bad loosing his first professional fight but, I am sure he will use his loss to better his skills…

In the amateurs you are going to lose, I guarantee that. Just take it as a learning experience, there’s bullcrap judges and there’s the bullcrap amateur scoring; just don’t let it eat at you.

All you have to do is fight hard and do the best you can , win or lose. I know losing can be heartbreaking because no one wants to lose but sometimes certain mistakes you make in a fight you can work on them and you can become a better fighter. A lot of the pros have lost fights in the amateurs but they came back and became much better fighters so don’t get discouraged.

the human spirit is never finished when it’s defeated. its only finished when it surrenders. Dont give up if you lose. Just accept losing because it is a part of the sport, but use your loss as a learning experience and motivation for you to whoop the next opponents a$$

You want to be bothered by losing, you never wanna come into a fight thinking you wont win. If you do lose, make sure that it drives you to find out WHY you lost so you don’t do it again. A lot of great fighters have said that they learned the most from their losses, they went back and figured out what happened and made sure that it wasn’t a weakness for them after that. At some point you will lose, but remember you don’t take the loss alone, you will always have your corner ready to pull you back up to greatness
