What career should I have?

I do well in school with AP classes
I’m well rounded and an eagle scout
I do amateur boxing and swim
I love helping people
I enjoy arguing
I’m good with money, and numbers
no, I enjoy debating.
I’m by no means a workaholic, and would be happy to sacrifice ridiculous amounts of money to be with family and friends.
I do want to make a lot of money though
I’m prepared to go to college to obtain any degree I will need
I don’t plan on even trying to get married or starting a family until I’m set in whatever career I choose

Accounting is a profitable, reputable and obtainable career. It may be stressful at times, like when you get busy near month or year end, but if you look hard you may be able to find the right job at the right company with average 40 hour work week.

The first step in any career is to go to school above the high school level. Find a community college or university with a wide variety of accredited programs. This will leave you with the most options of what major to choose. Business is always a good fall back if you can’t decide because it is always in demand. Search yourself for the true answer of what you want to do, don’t just chase the money and don’t feel bad if you can’t decide what exactly you want to do. You are still very young and life is your playground. You only live once, enjoy it.

The best thing for you to do is a free online assessment. Most of them have several parts and you rate your interests in each section some of them then list careers that suit your character or allow you to print the assessment and discuss it with your guidance counselor.
