What is dating and marriage like for black women in the UK?

I’m a nice and attractive black American woman who feels that my dating and marriage options are very limited in the U.S.. In my experience, I feel that most American white men intend to just date me and not go any further and most American black men who are middle-class or above would prefer a woman who is non-black. To back things up even more, I see on dating sites like Match that almost half the men on there check off the boxes for every ethnicity they are willing to date except black! To keep things simple, they should just have a box that says "Anything but black"! LOL

I’m starting to get the message that black women in the U.S. are at the bottom of the dating rung.

I live in a highly commercial and popular city in the UK (not London) and from my exeperience, there are so many diverse couples everywhere I go. My best friend (or unbiological sister as i call her) is mixed (white/ jamaican) and she is beautiful. I mean, the list of people who want to be with her is as long as the Nile.

Another observation I have made is, and if your from the US please don’t be offended by this, is that people from the UK tend to be more accepting of social diverisities (this of course is a generalisation, don’t make it into a "thing").

You will find someone, somewhere who will want more than a few casual dates with you.
