Boxing at home the same as taking classes?

Ok well i love to box and i mean LOVE to but the thing is my dad has an old heavy bag and speed bag down in the garage and i told my mom i want to take boxing classes but she wont let me because i already have all the things i need to box and spending 70 bucks a month isnt worth what you already have. so my question is can i box at home and get as good as someone that is taking classes and is gettin taught by someone that knows that there doing?

It could be just as good. Look at online forums and for information of professional coaches. There should be training sessions and plans online. However if you want to go far you will have to join a club at some stage. Good luck

No but don’t let that stop you. What you got at home is better then nothing. Practice at home, save up money and go get a lesson once in a while then go practice what you learnt at home.

At boxing classes you also get to sparr and learn good technique.
