Boxing class at community college?

What are boxing classes like at city colleges? Do you think they are informative or should I just spend my time joining a boxing gym?

You might learn a bit from the class at the college, but to be honest if you are serious about getting into boxing you will need to get yourself into the gym and hopefully one that has some good trainers in there.
