Google local boxing gyms and trainers in you're area. I guarantee you being in central Florida you will have tons of options. I would try to avoid "McGyms", or franchise gyms that are everywhere. I'm not too sure about Phoenix gym, but if it is a franchise gym with locations everywhere, DONT JOIN IT. They tend to cater more towards those inclined to suck at boxing, and females. Not to mention they are way overpriced. You want to find an old school type gym with a fiery old coach/trainer that is old school as fuck. He should constantly talk about "the good ole days", and say weird italian names you have never heard of. He should talk about "Graziano" a lot... You will be guaranteed to learn a lot more, and get way better way faster. There will be more "real" boxers to spar and train with and too learn from. Trust me....
