I pay 35 bucks a month. I'm not competing so no one is training me. Just there to workout. You're paying too much explore other options you have first.

If you get that discount then that's worth it, if you actually get a one-on-one with a trainer, and a trainer who actually knows his/her stuff. I've been to a few boxing gyms and checked out their trainers, and most have a lot of heart but not enough experience beyond the basics. Are you serious about boxing? As a hobby or competition? It's an awesome workout either way, and the best workout I think of any. You can end up getting hooked and doing at least 2 hours every day, depending on the gym/trainer/sparring partners.

too expensive, if you pay more than $50.00 for a monthly membership, your paying too much, the sign-up fee is definetly a rip-off, almost all gyms i've been to were NO sign-up fee, think of it this way, Freddie Roach's gym here in Los Angeles (Hollywood actually) is $50.00 a month, and we all know he is a Hall Of Fame trainer so you can expect the other trainers he has working for him know their $h!t and they train you but that is $35.00 an hour but if your looking to just go and not have anyone train you than paying over $50.00 is too much.
