How to find a boxing gym?

I want to try and take up boxing for fun and to get a work-out. I am not looking for a completive gym and I do not really want to get beat too bad or get some of my teeth knocked out. How much does it cost to join a boxing gym and do they have group classes how does it work. Do boxing gyms also typically have a weight room.

Go to boxinggyms.com and find one in your area. If not try your local PD and ask if they run a Police Athletic League that teaches boxing. Good luck.
