better just to go to a boxing gym. training on your own will only get you put on the canvass. for more on fitness and nutrition go to crossfit.com
two very important aspects of training are a long run and sprinting. your long run should be once a week and should be at least 3 miles (more is better but only if you can handle it, 3 miles should take no longer than 28 minutes) and also a few other days when you do sprints. Make sure to eat a large breakfast ever morning to start up your metabolism.
