I need help.I love to box and take boxing classes.Unfortunately I forgot to ask my teacher how to practice footwork alone.
What kind of exercises or training do boxers do to increase the speed,stamina, and agility of t heir footwork?I want to become fast in footwork!

Get the jump rope out and you can work on speed…shadow boxing allows you to focus mentally on proper form. As a cross-trainer (for any athlete), sprinting to a "burn" in a pool…the resistance from the water will break your form down, but that’s the goal; power through until fatigue sets in.

shadow boxing works wonders, stay on the balls on your feat when u move around. i use 1lb ankle weights when i do my foot work

practice running on a treadmill twice a day and YES! do shadow boxing and lots of fast jump rope
and always remember to get plenty of water never get dehydrated..i used to box and while i was doing my work outs my coach would come around and give us a sip of lemon juice mixed with a little bit of water just to boost some energy.

As my coach says faster feet make faster hands, but the best thing will probabley be jump roaping not slow but fast try to do some tricks.
